IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY

For so many days now I've lived a nightmare.  It's a nightmare that  I could never have imagined.  As I begin this blog, I find myself so full of ideas and anger that it overwhelms me.  So, what I will do now, is to let my mind have a chance to come together for a while and to sort out the screaming in my head so that I can accurately portray to you  a vivid picture of my nightmare.  Welcome to my life as it has become since the Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill.

Well Karen, I'm no conservative... but I want to hear what you have to say. Very much. I'm on the east coast of S. FL, but I grew up on boats in the Caribbean and Gulf, I am very concerned and doing what I can to put info out and help. I am a Liberal... but in all of this eco-atrocity, we are all Americans looking for honest help and honesty from those in authority... ? I'll put you on my blogroll http://monstersbehere.blogspot.com
I'll be reading you.

I like it Karen and look forward to reading more as I'm sure many out there do. The one thing I would like to say to all that read this is that it is not a Democrat against Republican fight. It's about killing a way of life and all the creatures that depend on that beautiful body of water out there called the Gulf of Mexico. It doesn't matter who is sitting in the oval office at this very moment. What matters is what the hell is the person sitting in that oval office doing to stop this atrocity that has not only caused so much ecological damage and death to the wildlife and foliage that depends on the Gulf waters, as well as the danger caused to the lives of the people that live in and around the Gulf waters. So many times our thoughts are driven by outside forces that want to bring our attention away from the real problem at hand. In doing so, the importance of the fight gets lost in the shuffle and meanwhile the perpetrators of the crime go on with business as usual. Let us not focus on our differences, but on the horrendous crime that has been commited against not only the ecosystem and the wildlife it sustains, but a way of life and the health of the people that depend on the Gulf for their very livelihood. This doesn't just affect the people of the Gulf region, but everyone across this great nation of ours. Today it's the Gulf of Mexico. Tomorrow it may be in your own backyard. I will not be detoured by the lies and posturing of BP nor our government. I stand right beside Karen and many others in this fight and I WILL NOT BACK DOWN!

Wasting one's energy on anger uses up precious mental, emotional and physical capital. You can't change what has happened. Focus your energies on what you can do. When the anger rises within you, write or say, I am angry about ______________. I am so angry I'd like to _________________. These things will help you stay in control of yourself. You can't control the government and you can't control BP but you can control you.
